One Month later...The Christmas Season!

Merry Christmas to all! My wish for you all is to have Bless Holiday Season and the very best 2008 New Year! My husband says the 8 in the bible means "new"start of something. I hope we all feel like we are Bless to have a new start this upcoming year, to do all the things we want to do in life. All I know is the best is yet to come and I can't wait to see what all God has in store for me. I'm getting ready to put every thing down in a couple of hours to reallly enjoy Christmas with my family. Like many of you I've been busy shopping, decorating and cooking. Going to more than my share of parties, plays and dance recitals....All of that is really fun, I'm really looking to spending time with my family alone reflecting on The Lord Jesus Christ.

What's going on....

I hope everyone had a Bless Thanksgiving! I sure did! It was a blessing to have good health, family and plenty of food to eat.I had out of town guest, a bridal shower to attend over the weekend and get my hubby's tailgate party together last night. Alabama vs. Auburn game. Auburn tigers won~17 - 10! This Auburn's 6th straight win against Alabama. So much is going on right now.... Tomorrow my husband is going to the hospital to have minor out patient surgery. I pray he will have have a speedy recovery. My daughter is having a hard time understanding why she is going to have to be careful around this man, who she thinks is a super hero. Olivia's schedule keeps me busy, she is a flower girl in her cousins wedding this Saturday. She has a dance recital coming up in December.Now it's time to start planning for Christmas, which will be here in a blink! Theres the Field trip to the Christmas Tree Farm, Pictures with Santa and the class party. The res gifts and cards to buy and make. To a bigger spin on things, I have a new job, my first full-time job in 5 years, after being a stay-at-home-mom. I will be doing Administrative work in the surgery department at one of our local hospitals. I'm in orientation for about 2 weeks,in my spare time I'm studying policy & Procedures. I'm a big scrapbooker and I'm so behind on my projects. I've got to come will plan to balance all of these things on my plate. Thanks for stopping by. Many Blessings to you!

Welcoming the Fall....

I hope everyone had a good day off yesterday. I know I did! I caught up on my sleep, since Olivia was sick all last week and I wasn't resting very well. Thank the Lord she is much better now! We had a good hoilday, justing hanging out around the house. My hubby did all the cooking and grilling. It was a beautiful day. Oh! how can I forget about the football ball games and Olivia dress like a cheerleader. My husband is big into sports and I think Olivia is following his lead.
Yes! I'm looking forward to the Fall season, my favorite time of the season! I love the nice cool crisp breezes, cool enough for a sweater, not cold enough for a winter coat. I love the different shades or orange and browns leaves on the ground. The sound of them cruching, when we take a walks in the park. I love the trip to the pumkin patch and decorating the pumkins and going to get our yearly mums to place all over our yard and front porch. I can't wait til we have ou first barn fire of the year, with the roasting of marshmellows and roasting our winners, while sipping on hot chocolate......mmmmmmm! Don't Fall sound like a blast! Oh! no air conditions! maybe a small fire in the fireplace on a chilly night. Oh! how I love Fall!

Back in the Saddle....

What a busy month! August is alomst gone. Olivia is back on schedule, Praise the Lord! She has no problem going to bed or getting up and getting ready for school. She has really been enjoying school, she has a great teacher. Friday was Noah's Art day, they had to bring an animal to school, a stuff one! Thank the Lord! Sadly to the school bug has hit! We have been in school only 2x weeks. She woke up saturday morning sick....She was throwing up every where. She was not able to keep anything down. I kept pumping her with fluids. She seems to be doing a lot better. Hopefully she will be able to go to school tommorrow. It really feels strange not to be in church this morning. I feel bad we are noot there to support my hubby, who had to preach this morning. Me and Olivia will send out special blessing to him. I told him to call me on his cell so I can hear him. With Olivia being back in school, I've been busy looking for full-time work, I have a couple of prospects, wish me a blessing, don't believe in good luck. In the meantime I've been helping out in the nursey they have in her school part-time. I take her to her classroom and go down the hall to the nursey to work until she get out of school. I hope everyone is doing well!

I now have a Kindergarten!

Well today was the first day of school for Olivia, she is offically a Kindergarten. I wanted today to be special for her. So I fixed her favorite breakfast, blue berry muffins. I packed her favorite lunchable and juice for her lunch at school and her favorite trix yogart for her snack. There were so many parents there taking pictures and I could tell the K-4 moms really didn't want to leave their babies. I thought to myself, it was only year ago, when I was in the same position. Oh! how fast time go by. I picked her up around 2:50 and she ran to me and said she had a great day! I pray special blessing upon the school, students and their teacher. I'm so bless to have such a wonderful for Olivia. It is a wonderful feeling to know your child is in good hands, when your not around. I know we are going to have a bless year at school!

The Trip....

Thank God for Friday! I say this because tommorrow Me and my family will be leaving for a weekend get-a-way. We are going to Alabama Adventure Theme Park in B'ham, AL., About 2hrs away from us. I know Olivia will have a blast, she is already packing everything in her Strawberry Short Cake bag....Lol I'm like, Olivia you don't need all of that! (were only going to be there for 2 days.) I made her choose one doll, she was planning on taking several, saying the others would be lonely....I told her we will pray for an Angel to come, the Angel will watch over the entire house. So Olivia chose Amazing Amanda to go on the trip with her....A five years old world!

My Little Girl....

My Little Girl is growing up so fast. She went to the dentist this week for a regular routine cleaning. While there the dentist discovered in the X-ray that her permanent teeth were already coming in. So the dentist recommended pulling the two bottom teeth. Mind you, I did not have a dicsussion with Olivia about having her teeth pulled....So I asked the dentist if I could stay with her, while they did the procedure and the dentist said she prefered that the parents did not stay....I was not happy with that. So I went back there and had brief talk with Olivia. She was being very brave and I was so proud of her. Everything went well....Thank God! That night we did the tooth fairy thing and the next morning she was really excited that tooth fairy came by bearing tokens for her bravery at the dentist office. So I will place her teeth with other baby items have collected. All this week I've been looking at my babies toothless gums and being just a little sad....It's really hitting home how fast my baby is growing up.

What a nice day....long but nice. Went to church, taught my sunday school class.... What wonderful kids they are! 10:00 a.m. went into worship service, had a bless time! My husband neice Miya went under the water today at another church....Actuall my best freind and her family are members at that church. We left there went to my friends house for them to change clothes, we all decided to go out eat at Barnhills. We had a wonderful time eating and talking with one another. We will see them next sunday, her husband will be having an ordination service to become an ordained minsiter. My husband has to preach that sunday morning....It will be another busy sunday....I wouldn't have it any other way. Right now Olivia is in her room playing, my hubby playing his videos games and me online, what a typical day in my life.

What awesome eblogger pages out there.....Since I'm a newbie, it will take me a minute to get this thing hooked -up. I know I need to list my buddies on here, whom I enjoyed reading there blogs on a regular basis. I need to list my favorite sites I hang out on......What else???
It would be nice to to put some of my scrapbook layouts on my Blogger. Can you put videos or some music on this blogger....I'm sure someone well answer that for me. Well I will go and figure how to set up my blogger. Peace!
